Whether you’re starting your yoga journey from scratch or looking to reconnect with your practice, this workshop is designed for you.

In this session, you will:

Learn foundational yoga breathing techniques and discover how to use your breath to support spinal movement.

Explore essential poses through demonstration, hands-on practice, and an open forum for questions.

Experience gentle movements that engage your spine in all directions: forward folds, backbends, twists, and lateral stretches.
Conducted primarily on the floor, this workshop is ideal for beginners and anyone eager to refresh their yoga practice.
Suitable for all ages and abilities—no prior experience required. Bringa yoga mat and a water bottle.
Meet Your Instructor:

Gena Foreman has over 25 years experience as a student, teacher, and mentor. Her classes are a balanced fusion of informed fundamentals with attention to breath (pranayama) and healthy energetic alignment. Gena is a 500-hour Yoga Alliance approved teacher. She has also earned her certifications in Yin, Restorative and Yoga Nidra.
In addition to teaching weekly classes, Gena leads retreats, immersions, 40-hour Yoga Nidra certifications, and 200 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Trainings.
